  • WHAT IS ULTRASOUND?

    Ultrasound is a non-invasive, and painless exam that produces pictures of the inside of the body using sound waves. Ultrasound images are captured in real-time, so they are able to show the structure and movements of the internal organs.

  • IS ULTRASOUND SAFE?

    Ultrasound uses sound waves to visualize baby so there is no radiation at all. Ultrasound has been used for 35 years and there have been no proven side effects from proper use.

  • WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 2D/3D/4D?

    2D is a black and white image. 3D only comes with images. In 4D you will see your baby’s features as well as his/hers first movements.

  • HOW EARLY CAN I DETERMINE MY BABY'S GENDER?

    As early as 14 weeks, but recommended at 15 via ultrasound.

  • HOW EARLY CAN I GET AN ULTRASOUND DONE?

    You can get an ultrasound as early as 5 weeks.

  • WILL I ALWAYS BE ABLE TO GET THE PERFECT IMAGE OF MY BABY?

    Most of the time we are able to get great images, but not always. Every baby scans differently, depending on its gestational age, position, amount of fluid, and mother’s condition. Our sonographers will make every effort to obtain the best possible images of whichever parts of the baby that can be seen.

  • DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

    No, we do not accept insurance because this is an elective procedure.

  • WHAT CAN I DO TO IMPROVE THE IMAGES OF MY ULTRASOUND?

    WATER is the best way to improve your images. You should be drinking plenty of water beginning at least 7 days before your scheduled appointment. Water can improve the quality of your ultrasound.
